Sell With Us

By choosing to sell with us, it makes selling your pre-loved item easy.

We'll do all the hard work for you, all items are photographed for the website, social media and merchandised to put in-store.

Item Intake

Accepted items must be in an immaculate condition, clean, free from signs of wear, and ideally pressed.

Seasonal; no older than 2 years, unless vintage or high end designer. Handbags and accessories are an exception to this.

Appointments can be made during opening hours, and on occasion out of hours. Call or email to arrange.

In Store

Items are sorted with you, unless the shop is busy, then I will ask you to leave them with me.

A customer contract form is filled in whilst you are in-store.

Once items are processed you'll receive a receipt of goods via Email or WhatsApp.

Selling Period

Items are kept for up to 12 weeks; this will be discussed on the day.

It is your responsibility to make an appointment to collect any unsold items within a week of the selling period ending, or I am happy to donate to a chosen charity on your behalf.

Price Adjustment

Items not sold after 4 to 6 weeks will be reduced by up to 25%, unless you've specified otherwise.

Commission & Payments

Commission is 50% of the sale price, unless your item is over £1000. We can then discuss the rate.

Payments are made via bank transfer on the last Friday of every month, unless you would like to be paid at the end of the consignment period.

Sale Notification

You won't be notified of sales, but you are welcome to enquire at anytime.

Liability & Ownership

Items are left at your own risk.

The Dressing Room Scarborough is not liable for fire, theft, or damage to any item.

Ownership remains with you throughout the consignment period.
